Landscape with the Fall of Icarus
Artist: After Pieter Brueghel the Elder
A wide Flemish landscape in which the mythical fall of Icarus is reduced to a small splash in the sea, while a ploughman, a shepherd and a sailing ship carry on with ordinary work.
